The New Year's Arrival!!!

 HEY ALL!!!

This is one of the best moments of one's life, sitting and counting the seconds which climb to be minutes which clobber to be hours...All the while waiting for the next year to come jingling with a midnight strike. It was on such a midnight that India and Pakistan got their Independence, it is on such a midnight that millions gather around celebrating the arrival of the new year... With lots of expectations and hallucinations, one may step into the new world, only to throw away the hard ones from the bucket of resolutions in many ways. 

Before getting into the excitement for the next year, which is becoming delirium, we should get a peek into the past...So what was 2021??  2021 was a year like a roller coaster, the Taliban took over Afghanistan while India and Russia entered a new sphere of partnership despite the desperate cries of the United States. The Covid 19 got on as many varients, as we invented the first vaccine to kill 'em (coronaviruses) all!! China played the freaky game of flying jets over Taiwan while the USA was bound to cry as China overtook in a landslide victory to become the wealthiest nation the world has ever seen. We also saw the world in despair as the Suez Canal was blocked by the Ever Given (cargo ship). India saw its widest protest in modern history with the contagious farm laws which took the farmers to the streets. In the foremost climate conference (COP 26) this year, India promised to use only renewable energy by 2050 while Bhutan retained its position as the only Carbon Negative Country in the world. NASA launched James Webb (Telescope) to space while World Space Week celebrated the "Women in Space". Richard Branson became the first man to go to space in his own spaceship, while Jeff Bezos who followed just behind took with him - Wally Funk. India got its first Olympic gold medal and Messi's Argentina grabbed the Copa America!!

So was the year of too many happenings, wasn't it great?? It was amazing!! As a part of human nature, let's wish for a much better one..We surely know something about 2022 already, it's the year when the next World Cup is going to take place - in Qatar... 

2021 was crazy so it's not bad to say to 2022 to be not less than insane!!!

The 'NEW YEAR'!!!

2020 was a year of many incidents, ranging from the death of Kobe Bryant and George Floyd, wildfires and peculiar events like a 'star going missing('Kinman Dwarf Galaxy) We can also say it benefitted us in some sort of a way: The environment pollution decreased. There is a lot of bussing about the new form of Covid-19, but we are never going to forget the disasters caused by the pandemic- This was quite a different life. We are hoping the New Year to bring new and fresh possibilities to our lives. We are entirely enthusiastic to get back to our usual selves, which are now a blur of memories. To my personal 'wish of the year', (it is very casual for us to wish for an even better year)I would prefer this year to be amazingly different from the past year, there should be many differences-the pandemic should end, the world should be normal. Well, the New Year has a lot of responsibilities. A New Year is a new chapter in our life, so hope you enjoy it well.          ...

Whistle past did another year!!

  When you actually think about it, what a hell of a year it was! 2024 was a year short of anything but excitement. From politics to economy and sports to music, this year was a racecar. One can tell nothing about this year without a remark on Mr. Donald Trump. What drama it was! America going to the polls making history with Trump coming back, Trump being shot at...it was crazy. Elon Musk spending half a billion dollars to help Trump. Musk himself making history with SpaceX using 'chopstick arms' to catch the returning booster rockets and Perseverance finding microbial life on Mars. Space prospects had never been higher. India is moving towards Gaganyaan and that is such an absolute moment of pride. But come on, who cared about anything but music by the end? Bruno Mars was back with not one but two bangers.
